[DEMO] Firewall: Defend The Grid

FIREWALL: DEFEND THE GRID is a tower defense strategy game where you take the role of a white-hat hacker tasked with building cyberspace defense systems. Deploy hardware and software defenses and manage your compute resources to build a perfect firewall and protect your clients from the ever-growing chaos.

They’re everywhere. Spyware, malware, viruses, spam, AI slop. In all shapes and sizes. Trying to steal. Fraud. Destroy. And they’re getting devious! Can make themselves invisible to the defenses or shielded from them.

They come in waves. In each wave they’re trying to reach the system. They will never stop.

Only a skilled hacker like yourself can stop them and protect the Cyberspace. You can’t count on luck on this one. All you got is your skills and your Hacking Deck.

You’ve been doing this job long enough to almost feel them coming. You’re known for this. That’s why you can pick and choose your missions. Most interesting ones. Most rewarding and prestigious ones, so you could upgrade and equip your precious Hacking Deck.

Check mission details and optimize your Hacking Deck loadout accordingly. When you have everything you need, use your Hacking Deck to connect yourself to the Grid and start preparing your defenses.

Build defenses

Build defense chips in active sectors. Every sector has a limited number of sockets and compute power. You can build more defenses than you can support, and turn on only the ones that are needed in a given moment.

Deploy programs

Use your Memory Allocated Neural Arrays (MANA) to deploy programs helping repel the attack.

Mod your defenses

Insert mods to your defense chips to improve their performance or alter their operations. Remember that everything comes at a cost, and compute is limited so choose your mods wisely.

This is a demo version including:

• 4 main campaign missions + 1 side mission
• Tutorial mission (also known as SuperMegaHack 3000 Hacking Deck Onboarding And Calibration Process or The Hacker's Guide to the Cyberspace)
• 4 types of main defense chips to fight all kinds of threats
• additional chips and mods to help you with the particularly sneaky little bastards with special powers (like invisibility or healing) or shields
• 3 types of support chips so you can focus on defending the Cyberspace against the chaos while keeping your compute power and credits in check
• 5 different programs so you could take some action in your own hands instead of relying solely on defenses. Also - you know, it's fun.
• lots of mods to improve your defenses or give them special powers (like applying poison to every attack - also - did we mention fun?)
• Shop where you can equip or upgrade your precious Hacking Deck spending the money you earned during the missions
